Directions

Note: As it is the beautiful summer season in Ohio, there is much road construction going on. Please check for updated construction information as you make your travel plans.
(suggested directions have been altered due to ALL THE CONSTRUCTION going on in the area and throughout the town. This map image is with old, non-construction friendly directions.)

From the South on I-75:
Take your best route to I-75 and take it the appropriate direction to get to Bowling Green. Get off at the Bowling Green/SR65 exit. Turn right – toward Meijer (you may not be able to turn left due to construction) and work your way to be in the left turn lane at the stop light at the next intersection. Turn left and drive about one mile to a 4-way stop at Poe road. Turn Left onto Poe and follow that to the fairgrounds. Fairgrounds will be on your right – parking on the left side of the road.

From the North on I-75:
Take your best route to I-75 and take it the appropriate direction to go toward Bowling Green.
At 475 split south of Toledo, take the short jaunt on 475 to SR25. Take SR25 south, with the lovely experience of that exit’s new diverging diamond – ie, watch your lanes and for the lights.
Follow SR25 south into Bowling Green where SR25 becomes main street. After Kroger (on your left) there is a stop light at Poe Road – turn right and take Poe Road to the fairgrounds on your left, parking on your right

From the East or West –
State Route 6 approaches Bowling Green and skirts around the southern edge of the city. This is a good route if coming from the east or the west.
Dunbridge Road/County Home Road is about a quarter to half mile from the interchange for I-75 (which I’ve been told is closed for construction).
Take an appropriate turn to be headed north on Dunbridge Road/County Home Road. (yes, one road with multiple names. I dunno, I just live here.)
Follow Dunbridge/County Home Road north for four blocks (country-ish blocks, so about 4 miles?) to the stop sign at Poe Road and turn left onto Poe road. Follow Poe rd. for approximately two miles to the Wood County Fairgrounds  and turn into the large parking lot on your left.

Use this at your own risk! Main street is closed about half way through town so follow the detours if you use this route! In town construction has been plentiful and painfu!
From State Route 6 at SR25: Take the SR 25 exit and head north into Bowling Green. (Coming from the east, you’ll turn right at the end of the exit ramp to SR 25. Coming from the west, you’ll turn left at the end of the exit ramp to SR 25.) Follow SR 25/Main st. north (past Home Depot, Walmart, etc.) about two miles to Poe Rd. and turn left onto Poe rd.  The Wood County Fairgrounds is about a mile down the road – turn into the large parking lot on your left.]

If you’re looking for shopping places to stock up for the day:
There is a Meijer on the Dunbridge Road route
There is a Walmart on SR25 about a mile north of SR6, and
There is a Kroger about a half mile north of Poe road on Main Street/SR25.
